Hi! 💝 I have a gift for you. It’s a guide to peeling off layers of expectation, finding your voice, and taking action. But before I share it, let me tell you a bit about how this guide came to be. 💛 It comes from my heart. I was a shy kid and struggled with crippling shyness well into my 20’s. Over the years, I adopted personas to adapt to certain situations. Work, social groups—you name it. Over the years I felt the weight of external pressure to be this way or that. Somewhere along the way I received the message that being who I am, being how I am, was not OK. Especially in the corporate environment. At work, I attempted to push these parts of myself away and adopt a persona, but never able to fully step into. It didn’t serve me well. 💛 In March 2020, I traveled to Costa Rica for a yoga retreat. It was bliss. Nothing to do but be who I am. I started creating a workshop to rebel against this persona. I was set to teach it in real life, but the country went into full pandemic lockdown. I was back home, back at work, and I let it fade away. 💛 In February 2024, I traveled to Bali for a Yoga Retreat and returned VERY RESTLESS. My quiet, quirky, passionate, creative self was pretty much erupting. 🌋 🔥 I took time to reconnect with some of my favorite creative endeavors—playing guitar, making jewelry, writing. Once again, I felt that sense of bliss I had experienced four years earlier in Costa Rica. 💖 I felt inspired to dust off my old workshop and gave it a name: Set Me Free. This week, I created a guide to hopefully inspire others to reclaim their voice. 🎁 Here is your gift: “Set Me Free Guide: A Journey to Reclaim Your Voice” https://drive.google.com/file/d/1XA7tJi7TAczlPnwGbjmWOLwStWZT9T4m/view?usp=sharing It’s filled with exercises for reflection, creativity, and templates for planning. Happy almost spring! I am jazzed about all the sunshine and warm(ish) weather recently. Nothing like a cool breeze flowing in through the open window while the sun shines in your face. Makes me want to dance so I’ve had the music turned up to 11, exploring new tunes and enjoying old favorites. I picked out a few bright, upbeat tunes selected for the spring workshop. Here are a few mantras for the season. Repeat after me: A positive, unexpected thing will happen to me this spring. I embrace...
Do you have spring fever yet? I know I do. The days are already getting longer and the sun has been shining bright in my part of the world. I’m going to gloss over the part where it was -18℉ a couple of weeks ago and focus on the 40℉ weather we’re living today! :) Spring is the perfect time of year to refresh and raise our energy with the brightness of the sun and many other spring inspirations. To celebrate, I have a couple of offerings: ☀️ Spring self-expression and vibrancy workshop 🕯️...
Another year is in the books. 2024 has been a year of transformation reconnection for me. I reconnected with my values, tended to my physical health and emotional health, and revived two passions that have been laying dormant in me for quite some time: playing music and creative writing. I always say that music was my first love, writing the second. At first, I saw this as transformation, but then I realized it was just me. Somehow these important parts of me got buried along the way and I've...
