🌸 Spring flowers and sunlight bring rejuventation☀️

Do you have spring fever yet? I know I do. The days are already getting longer and the sun has been shining bright in my part of the world. I’m going to gloss over the part where it was -18℉ a couple of weeks ago and focus on the 40℉ weather we’re living today! :)

Spring is the perfect time of year to refresh and raise our energy with the brightness of the sun and many other spring inspirations.

To celebrate, I have a couple of offerings:

  • ☀️ Spring self-expression and vibrancy workshop
  • 🕯️ Starting this week I'm offering a free candlelight yoga class on the first Friday of each month.
  • 👉 If you haven't been to softsmileyoga.com recently, stop by. A lot has changed.

🌸 SPRING WORKSHOP 🌸 (online)

🌷Join me for the workshop Mind, Body, Emotions: Somatic Yoga for Self-Expression & Vibrancy. 💫 This supportive and nurturing 2-hour workshop designed to foster well-being. A mix of yoga, free-form movement, breathwork, and mindfulness techniques help bring balance, offering a mix of energizing and calming practices.

Spring themes will be sprinkled throughout. We will:

  • 💐 use visualizations of spring flowers
  • 🪷 pull inspiration from blossoming tree buds to awaken our senses
  • 💃🏻 let the feverish lightness of spring guide us to shake off burdens and move freely!
  • 🎶 experience music.

Hi! 💝 I have a gift for you. It’s a guide to peeling off layers of expectation, finding your voice, and taking action. But before I share it, let me tell you a bit about how this guide came to be. 💛 It comes from my heart. I was a shy kid and struggled with crippling shyness well into my 20’s. Over the years, I adopted personas to adapt to certain situations. Work, social groups—you name it. Over the years I felt the weight of external pressure to be this way or that. Somewhere along the way...

Happy almost spring! I am jazzed about all the sunshine and warm(ish) weather recently. Nothing like a cool breeze flowing in through the open window while the sun shines in your face. Makes me want to dance so I’ve had the music turned up to 11, exploring new tunes and enjoying old favorites. I picked out a few bright, upbeat tunes selected for the spring workshop. Here are a few mantras for the season. Repeat after me: A positive, unexpected thing will happen to me this spring. I embrace...

Another year is in the books. 2024 has been a year of transformation reconnection for me. I reconnected with my values, tended to my physical health and emotional health, and revived two passions that have been laying dormant in me for quite some time: playing music and creative writing. I always say that music was my first love, writing the second. At first, I saw this as transformation, but then I realized it was just me. Somehow these important parts of me got buried along the way and I've...
